Raccoons and an Open House

ONE WILD OPEN HOUSE!

Racoon IMG_20120721_171720.jpgToday was an unusual day all around. However, this wasn’t something I would have ever expected. I held an open house on one listing that is having trouble getting “noticed”.  Glad to see the last 15 minutes coming up, I was showing the last walk in around. We came back from the hallway toward the front of the home, as I had thought I heard another car pull up as well. To my amazement, there stood a young woman, with a raccoon on her shoulder.

Well, thank goodness it was vacant, this thought went quickly through my mind. I have to admit that it was adorable, little eyes, purple rhinestone collar, and all. But I just did not know what to say. I suppose I would have been more shocked if it were someone with a boa constrictor wrapped around their neck. Next time I will be better prepared!

Ellen,  Wonder if Rack was preapprove with a lender and if that why he was there.  Good luck with closing it.
